Welcome!

Hello. My name is Gordon Hayes.

Before we get to my resume, I would like to take this time to say a few words, if I may. If not, please feel free to go directly to my Resume.

I am the resident Writer and WebMaster for this site, Journaled.com. I am also the Webmaster for eBusiness Web Development. We supply, amoung other things, NDEX (Network Data Express), a product associated with The Regence Group, Regence Technologies Group (Regence BlueShield is a part of this group). I also designed, created and run iNtraDEX (our Intranet at eBiz).

Our group supplies networking support and services to Blue Shield members (currently) in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah. As you may have realized by now, I live and work out of the fabulous Pacific Northwest.

I have a list of some of my past talents available, but its mostly for fun, though accurate.

I was working for several years with Scorpio Pictures toward finalizing some film projects, Euphoria, being only one of them. This seemed to be going no where and I broke off our relationship. I wish them the best of luck in their continuing efforts.

My studies at University were in psychological systems and processes, Awareness and Reasoning being the Division of the department. Also, various forms of writing disciplines, including: non-fiction journal writing, fiction, short-stories, and a year long, integrated program in script and screenwriting.

I became a published fiction author in 1990. I originally went into Psychology to learn human nature so I could produce better characterizations in my fiction. I nearly converted more than one English Major/Future Novelist with THAT concept. (Toward my own defense, I always tried to talk them out of changing their major...I never wanted an irate parent coming after me with a shotgun.)

My technical work in the computer field has involved PC consulting work since 1985, mainframe operations work on a VAX from 1987 to 1992, Technical Communications since 1987, and Web/Internet work since 1992.

These web pages are not only show pieces for me to display some of my technical skills as a writer of web pages, but also supply me with an outlet and connection to Producers, Studios and other writers on the Web. I've made many interesting releationships and associations on the Internet since I began on it in 1987.

I originally wrote these web pages primarily for fun, calling them AWHP (Another Writer's Home Page). But after a friend complained to me that it wasn't very professional, I changed them to: The Hayes: Journal of ExtraOrdinary Diversions; an ancient holdover from an attempt in the late 1980's to start a magazine.

I created a website for Equine related Pursuits called The Equitation Station, a business website dedicated to spectators and patrons of Horse Shows (including Riders, Trainers, Farm Owners, Show Judges, etc.). It was sold on eBay and is now, sadly for all intents and purposes, a dead site. Too bad as it had a devoted following form many years. But it was too much to handle for someone that wasn't interested in that pursuit. I originally built it for my wife who has since retired from training Arabian horses and riders for horse shows.

I am also trying to gather some User statistics regarding my viewing audience.
So, if you would be so kind as to answer just a few questions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Please click here if you have time to answer a questionaire.

If you are too busy to answer questions at this time, thank you anyway. Perhaps you can some other time. Should you merely like to view the questionaire, you are welcome to take a look at it without filling it in.

Please feel free to stop by my web development company: WebRiters, and its parent company, LGN Productions. It was under this umbrella that I produced and directed a 55 minute video documentary for Public Cable Television, called "Lost in Space: a Documentary" (on the 1960's television science fiction show, at its 25th anniversary).
To peruse some of my writings, check out my bibliography pages. These pages include published and unpublished works as well as my screenplays.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at:
Journaled.com Admin eMail account.

Thank you once again and have a good day.
Gordon
